Hey what do you do when your cant come up with new ideas, and you just dont feel like working on porn? I call it porn bloc. For instance, i know i need to update my blog, check my trades, and work on new projects but i really dont care today. ANyone else get those days if so what do you to get recharged?

I think we all at one time or another go through that. I've been in this business for over 12 years now and I can say that I've had these thoughts more than a few times. It is during those times that I suggest you take a break. I used to take short 2 days trips to Vegas. Over the years however I learned the key is to stop working so much. Force yourself to do things for you and stop working at a set time. That helps a ton.
Force yourself to do things that are not work related like watch TV 1 hour a night while NOT on the computer working. I also do things like play games such as World of Warcraft, The Sims 2 and Spore. I turn off the cell, log off the computer, and go for a drive or a walk and just listen to music for a while. The fact that I can just do that whenever I need to helps me keep things in perspective ;)

I very seldomly get tired of working with porn. And when I do come across one of those moments, I just shut off the computer and watch some television.....but I normally find myself back on the computer working about 20 minutes later.Comment

I think my biggest problem has been putting so much on my plate at one time...I have like 5or 6 different ideas and when i get to the first one another pops up. I havent done anything for a couple of days just to organize my thoughts also what i like to do is play this game called age of empires, a good fight gets me back in the right mood!

well I only do this for a couple of hours each week so for me the feeling isn't all that familiar, but I can imagine that when you do this 24/7 you can get crazy..
