My wife did by accident at a party a few weeks back. They were chatting about kids, she mentioned that she had two, upon which my wife enquired as to when the third was due

They laughed it off, but for a moment it was sooooo embarassing...

Ever had something similar happen?

i was in a mountain bike store in Anchorage Alaska looking at bikes a long time ago and there was a salesman helping this woman... she made some remark like "i'm not sure that i can ride it a lot right now" or something and the salesman never skipped a beat and just started babbling "yeah, it looks like you're due soon, what a great thing it is to be a mother, i can't wait to have kids blah blah blah"

he slowed his talking to a stop when the look on her face turned angry... then stopped and she said in a low, angry tone ... "i'm not pregnant"

i know its mean.. but i busted out laughing. the look on both their faces was priceless.. the salesman was so stunned he couldn't even pull it together to apologize.

funny how people can get so completely pissed about totally honest accidents where no harm was intended.

Once their face was good and flush with embarrassment I would say Im just kidding she is x # of months along and laugh.

Right after you have a baby..especially a big one..your stomach is still swollen to look like you are about 6 months preggo.

Being a woman and asking another woman when she is due because of her fat stomach is really embarrassing...did it a few times. Now I let others tell me.

I had a neighbor lady that was so fat.. she lived across from me for two years. She popped out two babies and you could never tell a difference in her body shape..totally creepy.

I did it once when I was a little girl. I remember it distinctly.
