A lot of them working as expats here. Others like Snowden just hiding of your government. FYI: Russia is not a very friendly place for immigrants. You will die before you get even
a tourist visa. For example, I need just to submit an online form and visit the US embassy to get a visa for 5 years which will be renewed automatically (I don't even have to visit your embassy every time when my 5 year old visa expires). Now go try to get a Russian visa and tell us your success story ;)
