You are misunderstanding me... I don't want to read an article about this. I want to get a feel for what happened in the 1980s in Russia with technology - For example, when did they get the "walkman" or something similar, and how common was it?

After thinking about this last night, I am also interested in how technology expanded in Europe during the same time.
