    I wouldn't exactly call Pakistan a politically stable entity. Let's not for get that Musharaff came to power via a military coup, so there's a history here of military leaders giving themselves a long leash.

    In addition, Musharaff was kicked out of power and the masses are grumbling, don't be surprised if there's alot of tough talk from goverment and military officials about "protecting their territorial integrity" while the US does as it pleases.

                            I get the feeling that Musharaff was actually kicked out by the US.

                            It was with US backing that Benazir Bhutto foolishly went back to Pakistan to be
                            killed. Why the fuck would Musharaff want her back in the country?

                            The US wanted Bhutto in because the US thought Musharaff wasn't doing enough.

                            So the US got what it wanted and now Pakistan is ready to fire on US troops at sight.

                                                I hate to remind everyone Pakistan is an unstable country and they have nuclear power!!

                                                I wouldn't want to go to war against a country that has nothing to lose! They are probably as dangerously minded as Iran.

                                                But I'm Canadian, so why would I worry?
