    Text messaging on the iPhone?

I've never used / held one before... I'm thinking about giving it a shot. I have a blackberry pearl & like it a lot.

The one thing that worries me about the iphone is sending text messages... was it an awkward transition from regular phones to the iphone because there are no buttons to press?

you'll get used to it (touch typing) and apple keeps getting better at correcting misspelled words every update.

its hard at first once you get the hang of it its great, they have a some kind of memorization thing for words you commonly use for the auto correction.

It didn't take more than a day to get used to the typing but since I broke my screen and went back to a regular phone, I realized I missed having folders (inbox/sent/drafts).
Although I think there might be a couple of applications you can use to have it that way.

Also hated the fact that you can't forward a message, just have to re-type it.
                Regards,
