The argument that both parties are the same on this issue is disingenuous. i will be the first to admit that i dont know much detail of their plans.. a know a little, but what i am basing my decision on is that when you have a mixed party congress and president, almost nothing gets done.
i am voting for obama (the first time i voted since i voted for perot) because congress is democrat. i am hoping that with a democrat pres and congress some shit might actually get done.
i also like obamas pledge to open up govt to the US people by making more of the political process viewable on tv or the web.. i really hope this happens even if mccain wins..
