Ever had a fraudster forget they scammed you and try again later?

Last year I had somebody sign up to my site and they logged in a bunch of times, then they issued a chargeback and claimed fraud. We blacklisted their e-mail, IP, and cards used. Now one year later they are trying to sign up to my site again but because of the blacklist they are getting declined. Funny thing is they even sent an email asking if my site still worked because their cards (6 different ones used) keep getting declined. The situation makes me laugh a bit. Now deciding whether to respond to their email saying why we won't accept their transactions or to just ignore it.

Ignore it because they will attempt a different way to scam you if they know you know.

If you are sure of your facts, ignore them. I think engaging with scammers makes them more bold & feel it's more of a "personal" mission to rip you off.

Tell him it's probably a problem with his bank.
Maybe he will call the bank and be an asshole and they will terminate his accounts.

The closest I had was a guy screwed me over on a Paxum for Paypal transfer. After a few months someone else actually paid me on his behalf. Then a few weeks later he contacted me again and asked if I would do another transfer.

Oh I love it when they try again!

I have some of GFY's resident scammers hitting me up on ICQ every few months, admittedly from a new ICQ number each time but with the same Paypal/paxum address and the same "offer".

Send him an e-mail saying thank you for the 6 sign ups. You appreciate his business and hope he enjoys the site.
