Can I bet on the presidential election?

I'm not much of a gambler, but I got a few extra bucks and I'd like to know if Vegas bets on the election. Anyone know how I'd go about doing that?

    Thanks

270towin.com has Obama listed as 84% chance of winning.

By the way, I have checked out betting odds at the top online sportsbooks.
Almost all of them have similar odds. You can check it here.

For example, if you bet on Obama, and put $500, you will get $250 pure profit. (if Obama wins of course )

yes you can, here is a list over bookies offering it:

              http://www.betbrain.com/oddsDetail/S...opeId/0/site/0

but I'd head over to the betting exchange betfair.com if I were you, the odds is better and the amounts matched are higher, currently matched about $7 million for "next president"
