                                                                  Earl has been around for years true, but what does that have to do with the quality of these pictures? I don't think the statement was disrespectful at all. I'm in total agreement with that statement actually.

                                                                  I've seen shooters with only a few years of experience shoot better stuff then what you've showcased here. Hell, I was shooting at that quality (or better) when I moved to LA in 1999. Either Earl's heart isn't in his photography anymore....or he has someone else shooting his pictures. I just can't believe that someone with his skills and years of experience is producing pictures of that quality. I don't think I'm being disrespectful...I'm just being honest

                                                                              uff, it is the way you came off, earl DID shoot these, and not sure how to take you Dean saying that earl's quality is lacking, earl shoots, he does not do photo editing, so there may be a missing link there, but for christ's sakes, have some respect for the man, not sure if you are picking up on the comment I made about who was a pioneer in the business, 36 years ago, you should thank a man like him for paving the way for guys like you and me to make money now, not to be insulting, but is my $.02. And thanks for raining on our thread w/ the kind statements :-)

The model is beautiful - yes, but the set reminds me of content that I saw in the 80's/90's. The lighting is about as basic as it gets and the skin tone and post production is god-awful. I've had guys with only a few years of experience attend my workshops and they could shoot better than this.

                                                                                  I hate being critical of another photographers work and I usually don't critique the work of others unless I'm asked. But when I saw these pictures from an industry giant like Earl, I had to speak up. I just can't believe that Earl shot these pictures. If he did actually shoot these, his quality has gone down over the years and that's a shame

Is common courtesy I am speaking of, your critcism could have came in the form of a email, not in the middle of a promo thread. cheers

                                                                                                      Your absolutely right with one exception....this is GFY and anyone who posts pictures here is fair game for a critique. I've been a target for years by folks who don't like the style that I shoot or because they think that I over-photoshop my work. I'm happy to have folks critique my work as long as it's done in a professional manner....just like I did yours. But here on GFY, most of these morons have no idea how to critique the work of others without being an idiot.

                                                                                                      Another reason I spoke up was because someone posted that they didn't believe Earl shot these pictures and you thought it was a joke. I didn't think it was a joke and you shouldn't either. If I were Earl, I'd be embarrassed to put my name on that content
