Sorry man, every time one of those boats go screaming past on the lake, I fuckin' hate it.
If you want to do that, go out into the open ocean where it's just a far away annoyance and you're only going to kill yourself. There are noise pollution ordinances in a lot of places to prevent boats like that and I think that make a lot of sense. Also the speed limits prevent you from really opening it up any way, so what's the point?Comment

I was thinking the same thing when I read his post about taking it on the ocean.

I am interested in seeing this boat run through the lights....some sort of proof of HP and TS. Donny, has this engine been DYNO tested, if so, I am sure there is some proof of paperwork showing the final torque and horsepower...blah, blah, blah, that was provided by the owner who sold this to you?
Beings the other side of my family comes from and is involved in drag boat racing, I would like to see this boat in action. I am sure Donny can provide a unedited video of him reaching 160 or even 80 MPH.....if you feel ballsy, the ocean will do ;)
I won't mention what was stated to me when I sent the picture of this boat and engine to the family, but the only proof is DYNO chart results or running her through the lights.
Not trying to bring light of this, but proof is what is important.
Now Donny, don't go all postal on me. My questions are fair and I would like to see proof of your claims that this boat houses a 800 HP engine and she runs 160 through the lights on a dead flat run.
