    I got a virus today.

    On my computer, not personally.

    Actually I think it was malware. Pretty nasty it was too for a while.


    Basically, it popped up with fake antivirus, tried to install a lot of Chinese shit, added a shit load of advertising malware, disabled by antivirus and stopped windows defender.
    It also changed my homepage on all browsers and added links to sessions.

    Anyway, It was gone within about 20 minutes thanks to Windows restore.

          I got one a few weeks ago that did a voice ad for pringles every 10 mins.. needless to say it worked cause I craved pringles while I removed it.

                      HAHA but for real every once in awhile I go through my old tgps trades and the things that I pick up is nasty.. I feel like I personally need a shower after I remove the viruses from my pc..

                                  Saw a presentation by a Canadian guy who made malware. He said they tried to use affiliate links, but they always got banned. So they made money installing other people's malware. They would load as much as they could, Cause they got paid for each install. Didn't matter if it broke your computer or you just cleaned it up.

                                  I'm sure I have mentioned it before, But very good presentation.
