    Prince Died Of Aids?

    Anyone think this is true?

    Sadly Prince Rogers Nelson has passed away today aged 57 allegedly of AIDS. Sources say he contracted HIV in the 90's which he kept private. He turned his faith to the Jehovah Witness religion who have strong views on medicine and believed God can cure. HIV/AIDS has yet to be confirmed officially as the cause of death.

    Prince has had a very weakened immune system over the past weeks, with those close to him reporting he had the flu. More details on his condition are no doubt forthcoming. His plane made an emergency landing recently due to a sick passenger, presumably the rockstar himself. Witness reports had Prince pacing a parking lot at his studio last night, looking worried and upset about something.

                                                                              I read that and still thought he would have treated it (and be with them just for the spiritual side, but not for "anti medicine" side). I mean it would be crazy otherwise.
                                                                              I mean most people of faith do not uphold all the "rules" of th religion.
                                                                              Plus the fact that he did not die quickly also would support that he was treating it.

                                                                                              The reason I don't think this is the case is that just a week or two ago he put on a concert. Typically people that die from AIDS complications are week and very sick for a long time before finally dying. I don't know that he would have been healthy enough to do a show if he were that sick.

                                                                                              That said, I suppose anything is possible.

                                                                                                  I've lived in Santa Monica for about 25 years, and know the Observer as a local news and ad rag that publishes tiny local stories and fictitious business name notices. It's hard to believe they have a scoop about Prince dying from HIV. But who knows? This is LA and crazy stuff happens here all the time.

He was only in the hospital for two hours, if he were really sick what could a hospital do for him in two hours other than give him a shot of Naloxone for an overdose.

                                                                                                                              My money is that due to the pain of a needed hip replacement he became addicted to opiates and that is what caused his death.

                                                                                                                                          Anything is possible, and I'm not expert, but AID/HIV isn't what kills you, what kills you is complications from it. Most people with it end up slowly withering away then typically get some kind of pneumonia or something like that. It isn't that they just get sick, most of them lose a lot of weight and look really bad. I have a feeling if he really had AIDs he would have looked very sick at that last concert.

                                                                                                                                          I would be likely to believe he OD'd or might have just had a sudden stroke or heart attack. It's also he could have had something like diabetes and didn't treat it and that caused it.
