Actually they know damn well how to sell too and make our annual sales look pitiful in comparison. They also have ass loads of affiliates willing to bust their ass for 7%. The consumer already wants what they have too.

It just really shows how easy of a job adult has or better yet how well paid adult affiliates are.

I dunno about all that. Porn is a derivative of sex, and if not outright a need, then pretty damned close. On-sale, price reduced junk is still junk. Crap. Worthless. In the words of Jerry Seinfeld,

"Still a rip-off".

So they might have 60,000 affiliates, but so does everyone, the long tail of 15 raw hits / mo affiliates is long indeed. They don't make nowhere near close to what the better cunny shops are making, I'm pretty sure, and for good reason : Nobody's going to give them the hard part of selling a piece of crap for "up to 7%".

If adult does 50-50 revshare, these sorts of places should be in the 70-80 range.

Go surf around some time. There are such ads everywhere and yes even to overstock. They get more than enough traffic and they pay 7%.

I think we agree on the facts, just not on the interpretation of facts.

Overstock has half your costs means should keep half your %, far as I'm concerned.

Overstock has half your costs, means I should get half my %, far as you're concerned.

Nothing too surprising there, either.

Edit to say : I strongly suspect their "up to 7%" hides a 2% sort of offer.
