    Goose Stepping the Bill of Rights

    At many times I have had a discussion with some of my friends about the state of the U.S. and the right wing machine, as well as the terror, and other bullshit. I am normally the voice of the left against the hawks. But here is something, I, personally find scary.

    Before I get started. My friends are in the following departments...

    1. Homeland Security Detroit.
    2. Michigan State Cop.
    3. Detroit City Cop.
    4. Battle Creek City Cop.

    Now, that said, all 10 years or more in the various departments of their choosing. However, all of them will agree to one thing. If you want security from murders, thefts, crime, or terrorists... a police state is not so bad.

    This include tracking of people. Use of phone taps, traffic and ATM cameras, busting people for crimes outside of the scope for their warrants, grand jury testimony, and so on. Also use of the Patriot Act for domestic crime investigations.

    Oh, and I love this priceless gem, "They are still breaking the law, even if it's not the law we are initially investigating" and this timeless classic, "If you are not breaking the law. You have nothing to worry about".


    I thought it was just the Zinger O'Reilly, Hannity Heros, and right wing Fox News nuts, but fucking A...

          The left wants those laws and departments in place just like the right. There really is no left and right. There is a police state or freedom. Pick which one you want. Throw all these yellow bellied bastards out of office.
