Will-o-the-wisp don't be such a fucking idiot. No one DESERVES to be attacked in such a way. Including Saddam. There is a difference between the terrorism of the Sept 11 attacks and planned military strikes. I'm not saying that soldiers deserve to die any more than civilians but at least the soldiers/military bases can defend themselves.
Basically I'm a pacifist and am not gonna get involved in the whole 'should or shouldn't the US attack' argument but no one anywhere in the world deserves to have jet airliners crashed into major commercial/civilian centres.

But I will say will-o-wisp PLEASE come meet me and say to my face why this poll exists.
When you meet me I will show you all the pictures of my brother and his wife. I will show you pictures of thier kids too.
Then I will show you all the paperwork that we had to go through to claim his body. We will also show what kind of help his kids have available to them now that they lost thier mother nd father in those attacks.

but if you think about the US government only.. if you ask if the US gov. deserved such a loss for their foreign politics, maybe it could be something to discuss about... but i'm not interested in discussing politics at all so i'm not gonna comment directly on this..
all i can say is there is totally different stuff going on behind the scenes than what we know and what we see on TV.. all we can do is assumptions.. it's almost impossible to know about the real stuff unless you are involved in it.. that's why there is so much never-ending discussions going on about politics..these discussions are simply full of wrong assumptions and you cant simply prove what you say.. you just say what you believe in.. its just like discussing about religions and god, you assume things, you believe in it, nobody can prove it..
but it is obvious there was a reason why terrorists did it.. if you think they did it because they simply hate americans, you must be dumber than a sheep.. hate to say it but they did it because of some political decisions that US made.. what were those? who knows..(yes, you can assume what they were).. can you then simply blame US politicians for this? i don't think so.. i'm sure they tried to do something good for american's, and/or something good for the future..

the september attacks were a very sad incident, as well as the bombing of afghanistan.
it is a fact that the us-government destroys any democratic movements in the arab countries simply to have the control over there. i dont know if us-citicens are aware of that. but the real problems were not caused by americans, but by the imperialism of certain european countries. for example europeans were teaching arabs how to use terror to fight the turks before the world wars.
the world is more fucked up then ever, it's not only the us-goverment doing crazy thing, gush, have a luck to italy, or watch the chinese! it is time for a big peace movement, fuck, if you chat with some chinese, italian, arab, indian, whatever on icq, then it fucking seems to be like chatting with one of your neighbors. some freaking politicans just try to brainwash us telling us about danger. if they did their jobs the way they're supposed to, then there was no danger at all.

I am not going to debate that. There are two sides to every story.
My point is this:
When Japan attcked Hawaii and dragged us into world war 2 they attacked a military facility.
This was the right thing to do. We are threatening attacking Iraq now whether this is just or not again it will not be debated here however we are planning on attacking thier military not thier civilians.
The WTC attacks were all civilians. This was not a military post. So just that fact alone leaves no room to say whether it was right or not. It simply wasn't right for any reason. The men and women and kids that lost thier lives that day lost thier lives because they were doing right and going to work to support thier families.
The people who died on the airplanes did nothing wrong. They were simply going about thier business.
The people in the pentagon I have a problem with how in the hell a hijacked airliner got the close to our most important symbol of military in this country. It should have never got anywhere close to that building. I mourn the loss of lives in the pentagon too but they knew the risks of working there. Unlike the people in the WTC's.
The attack was cold heartless and unwarranted on innocent civilians.
Should our policies change? Maybe I'm not the one who has the control. I can only cast my votes.
But anybody that states these attacks on these particular buildings were warranted or right, can take me off thier ICQ's and forget even contacting me about anything. Thats how strongly I feel on this subject.Comment
