Nope... on purpose. They just kicked him and his coach out of all WTF taekwondo competitions, banned them for life and deleted the records from the competition.

well I wish this would have happened during the Baseball game between South Korea and Cuba .... that Puerto Rican umpire didn't count 2 perfectly good strikes and the catcher almost went ballistic on his ass .... he got kicked out of the game but the Koreans were able to pull it off regardless of the odds ...

If youre gonna make accusations at least post the link so people can see the context. The judge disqualified him and therefore the judge deserved to get kicked in the nuts.

However, the Cuban decided not to be so mean and opted for an option to just kick him in the head.

If he had won bronze, for example, then where would he have kicked the judge? In the nose? In the leg? Impossible to figure this one out. Those cubans fight dirty, you can see it from the Cuban who lost against GB James DeGale earlier.

He didn't deserve anything. It was out of order and not in the spirit of TKD.

The remaining traditional Taekwon-do (usually ITF) schools are pretty hardcore. The olympic version is pretty bullshit though I have to agree. Unfortunately not many good TKD schools are left.
