I keep getting great well known (name brand) DVD studios that I don't put up at TheContentStore.com and I'm able to sell them privately 2-5 times each. Great content and smokin' box covers! These are premium priced titles @ $300-$400 a pop and I'm only selling their full libraries. Most titles were produced and released from 2006 -2008 and have never been released on the net as content.
40-180 DVD titles at a clip @ $300-$400 each ... sold just 2-5 times each = truly semi exclusive these days.
Adapt or die is the mantra of the year, ain't it?
Bottom line TODAY ... those companies that still want to compete and service their members AND DO see the value and spend the $$$ on content - step your game up!
When the smoke and mirrors clear and the house of cards (which we all know and see) falls, those that remain will do so because of content (in addition to marketing, of course).
I "blew it out" and changed the content game in 03' for a lot of people, including myself. That was my intro into the content biz. From 04'-mid 07' I built up a solid content customer base and my competitors started blowing out DVD's. WTF? Karma, I guess, huh? Again, whatever!
Anyone that wants my list of semi-exclusive studios and a price sheet can hit me up. 1st come 1st served basis! Bulk deals only! No discounts!
