    I always thought Shap/Twistys was against pre-checked cross-sales?

I just noticed that they offer links with cross-sales now, for a higher payout.

Shap, if you read this, don't take it as an attack, but would you mind telling me why you changed your mind?

Is there really any sponsor out there now without pre-checked cross-sales?

It made me sad to discover this. Seriously.

          I noticed that also.

BTW: No need for sig spots, this is a serious question, not a drama thread.

I honestly don't think there is anything wrong with cross-sales (prechecked or not) As long as it is done in a manner not to TRICK the surfer. I saw Twistys join page and they are very upfront about the terms and conditions reselling Brazzers. Nothing shady at all (unlike some other sponsors)

Cross sales are used in all of mainstream media, heck even Amazon does it with magazines.

Right now we dont have ANY cross-sales but if we do in the future, it will be done in a manner that shows respect to the surfer.

He made a post declaring it and stating why a while back.

Basically it yield's more money and at least what he did is cool, the whole cross sale thing is optional.

I understand the reason for the question as I was outspoken against it. I've answered this a few times here goes again

It boils down to being competitive. I'm not going to blow smoke up your ass and come up with different reasons. It's all about being competitive. The more revenue I can generate the more I can payout to affiliates and the more attractive TwistysCash becomes to affiliates.

We've run tests and all our tests have shown 1 pre-checked cross sales leads to no change in sales, no change in retention, no change in customer complaints and 100% benefit to the bottomline.

There's nothing wrong with cross sales that aren't misleading, hidden or any other way shady as hell.

Make them very clear and concise and it's just another revenue stream.

That's as good a reason as any....why leave any money lying around that you don't have to...

Affiliate demands are increasing and margins are shrinking (sorry to doubters, but it doesn't matter if you are exclusive or non-exclusive, the margins are shrinking in both games).
