You can hop the Marta train directly at the airport and stay on the same train until it reaches Perimeter Center Station and the hotel has a free shuttle to there. Total cost $1.20.
A cab is pretty expensive from the airport, but we are in the process of finalizing a deal with a limo company to offer the trip for about the same price as a cab. We should be posting something about in the coming weeks if you are interested.

cab is more expensive from the air portComment

I was told that a cab is about 60 bucks. There's a shuttle called the Go Shuttle that's 22 bucks. The other option is Marta and the hotel shuttle.Comment

Or I can rent a car. I found $11/day deal on hotwire.comComment

Unfortunately you have to take the worst Metro system in the world: MARTA
From the Airport take the "North Springs" Train and get off at the "Dunwoody" stop.

It is about 30 minutes from the airport (which is the extreme southern point of the rail system) to Dunwoody (which is almost the extreme northern point)
During normal hours it is every 10 minutes. Off hours it is 15-20 minutes.
Just stay on the one.
Hope this helps!

I admit that Marta is not the best system in the world...however, the rail system is just as good as anywhere. If it involved getting on a bus I would not recommend it, but the rail system is fine.
