Last week we had a lengthy post on this board about your sites. I brought up the issue that your terms were misleading...a 4 day membership actually had to be cancelled within 3 days, or it would recur. I said that I would not subject my surfers to this type of misleading sales tactics.

You assured me that this was simply a clerical error, and that memberships could be cancelled right up until the end of the 4th day. Well, guess what, the trial membership I purchased to test your words was purchased on the 27th of August. It was cancelled through billingsupport on August 31st. Tonight, I checked Billingsupport and they show a new MONTHLY recurring membership has been added.

Please explain this!! And if you say this was in error...it damn well better be..because I will test it again...You ARE getting a charge back and it's from a fellow adult webmaster.

I don't know why Roger said it was a clerical error, but every single major site I run across uses the same billing practice. I've seen one that had this method on a ONE-DAY trial which recurred to $40 of which you get $30. Basically amounts to the lowest paying active member program around. Hopefully they just used terms from some of their other longer trial period sites on accident.

Because there are still some sites, such as Amateur Pages who run a classy set-up, with honest terms for both their customers and their webmasters. I don't like to keep all my eggs in one basket...but the pickins' of sites that aren't crooked in some way or another are slim pickins' indeed.

the real dicks are those who CHARGEBACK when they should have read the terms. Nothing makes me happier then over- drawing some poor suckers bank account when we dispute the chargebacks and win. The processor/merchant wins 99% of the time so dont get your hopes up on getting the money back.

If you purchase a trial subscription, and decide to terminate your trial subscription, you must do so AT LEAST one (1) day prior to the end of the Trial Period

This in no way means Lensman doesn't run a classy set-up. It's business. And to clarify, these terms are coming from the processor's end.

How about if you check your facts before attacking me? Please show where I have supported or participated in any of the business practices that you have mentioned?

I would define an adult, in this situation, as one who can control his temper and act in a professional manner even when he is pissed off. By doing so he rises above the opposition in the view of his peers thereby making the opposition look like an ass.

which site do you ruin again? if you are that disillusioned about the industry why not open your own sites, program, etc.
I've always told others "if you don't like what's available, do it yourself" and I did just that with my own program...I run it how I see fit....so, why don't you do likewise?
