All hype that didn't deliver. Saw it this weekend and was sorely disappointed. DC just can't get it right when it comes to movies. Ben Affleck was a HORRIBLE choice for Batman. The casting director needs to join ISIS and get killed by a drone strike. Don't waste your money.

Snyder actually made some killer films. 300, 300: Rise of an Empire, Watchmen, Sucker Punch, and I'd even say Man of Steel was done pretty well. My gripe with him is his blatant abuse of CGI. It's almost criminal how much he uses it in his movies, even when it's not necessary. We all like nice shiny things, but there are times when old fashioned costume design and great camera work makes the scene so much more enjoyable.Comment

Really bad movie, the first hour is painful to watch then some action kicks in but sadly it's terrible. There were a couple of times in the movie I thought I had blacked out and missed some parts but after consulting with friends, nope it just goes off at a tangent to show some shit that is of no use whatsoever.Comment

Well...even though i'm a Marvel/X-Men fan i enjoyed Batman vs. Superman. It provides so many clues for Justice League...also Ben Affleck was the best batman ever. I love Zak Synder's visual style. Watchmen was amazing, and Man of Steel was freaking great. I watched it several times. Even the music was epic.
I thought the idea of Batman vs Superman was bad and it didn't interest me, until I read that this happened in the comics. So this plus decent reviews will get me to the theatre to see it this weekend.
As for Ben Affleck, I think he's a really good actor (Gone Girl? The Town? Changing Lanes? his bit part in Boiler Room?). Daredevil wasn't too thrilling but it had its moments. And apparently, Zak Snyder had to really talk Affleck into taking the roll.
How is Gal Gadot as wonder woman? Of course no one will compare to Lynda Carter
