What makes you decide to try a new sponsor?

I'm curious...what does it take to get you to give a sponsor a try? Not necessarily a new program, but a program you've never pushed yet?

    Reputation?
    Payout?
    Product Quality?
    Staff/Service?

    Discuss.

Someone at the company has to know what the hell they are talking about before I'll sign up for something new.

and i have to trust them....which means i need to have met them in person at least once & actually like them as a person

product quality comes in just after all that

        I think that's totally fair.

Again, very fair. Nothing listed that seems at all unreasonable.

So what gets your attention and makes you notice a new sponsor to try? Or what pushes you to change sponsors?

          1. Content
          2. Payout
          3. Site design
          4. Join page/form
          5. Reputation
          6. Support

That's my list. #1, 2 and 3 are the most important by far.
          I'm just a newbie.

            The paysite.

I'm in business to sell more than once to the same surfer. If I make him happy once, my chances increase of a further sale. And vice versa.

Product, it has to be unique and well made or I can be sure the reputation, staff, etc also suck so why bother. Payout will STOP me from promoting a program for instance if they only payout via epass but it won't affect my initial interest in wanting to promote.

Quality is a big key for me, watching my conversions based on my particular traffic and payouts. Payouts I listed last only due to the fact that if quality and conversions are good, then ill make more at $25 pps then $50 pps if my conversion is better which requires quality.
