Hey Darkstar #296779, I thought I was very polite and have the icq log to prove it.

I don't spend to much time developing free sites to look good anyway, I make mass sites and submit massively. Any site that I design will moslty likely be way better than that.

I never said I was professional and I never disrespected you.

Every design company declines some clients..... and everyone looking for design..... declines designers. It happens everyday. I had no problem with this guy. Until he started mocking me under a different name (Professional_Designer). You're telling me that was'nt a sarcastic post? Posting links and my icq number. I am representing myself and what really happen. He posts under a different name, then..... when we find out who he is..... he goes and hides. If you're right. Why is he in hiding, taking his site down, and not responding anymore.

He was dilliberatly trying to humiliate me. He did not post a link to the design and express his opinion on it. He had to add a whole fairy tale to it. My question is why hide, why not respond directly?

You took it too seriously SetTheWorldonFire, no need to make such a dramma of some joke.

Just want to tell you that I don't mind expensive work, and I do pay good money for high quality design. But you pissed me off showing design that is worth $10 and telling me that it will cost $150 what a joke, it takes 20 minutes to make such a site hence at least $300/hour so the joke was based on truth.

Now what scared me is stupidity of some GFYers who took this seriously and really thought I was a designer offering my experience althought it pretty clear sounded as a joke...
Next time calm down with your "I'm expensive" attitude and hopefully you won't piss anyone off. I tried to tell you how regular avs site should not cost that much but no you claimed to be expensive instead, well be it so but don't blame people when you piss them off and they tell around about your shit expensive design.

Some of my clients ask for them and I give them that price because I never did one for anybody before.

I'm just starting out, I give my clients my best work. I form longterm relationships. I apologize for whatever I did. Hopefully no other designer gets caught up in any situation like this in the future. C'mon, relate it to others. If for example SleazyDream had a gallery spot and charged an arm and a leg. I'm not gonna go make a post mocking him how expensive the spot is. Nor will I hide, or say it's a cheap placement. What do you think SleazyDream would do. Say nothing? I think not.
