    Obviously Mexico doesn't have an official policy of 'sending the US illegal immigrants', THAT, obviously, is common sense. So it must be referring to an official Government aspect, which is immigration.

                                I have a good friend, ex-employee, who is now with the border patrol in El Paso. The stories he tells me about illegals are unreal.

                                Why wouldn't those people with first hand day-to-day interaction with illegals not have opinions worth listening to?

                                                                        What he is talking about is the industrial revolution. Jobs booming and sustained economic growth. Of course he can't say that or he would be laughed at for citing something 200+ years ago. He did say Reagan was a great president and alot of job growth occurred during his presidency.

                                                                                                    But what Trump was talking about in his speech a year ago was that he feels the Mexican Govt. is purposefully turning a blind eye to criminals coming over the border to the U.S.

                                                                                                    He basically said that they are getting rid of their undesirables by not having any border security of their own.

                                                                                                    It's a valid point. But political opponents of Trump pounced on it immediately as him being "racist". That is just not the case.
