No need to promise to promote our stuff Brian nor pass on ideas to get feedback. I can take a look around to try to find a style that matches her face yet does not come off as it currently does. What I would suggest regardless is for you to hit a local Barnes and Nobel's and look at assorted make up books. Find a few you like and either buy them there or go home and order them online - maybe used. There are some fantastic books out there for makeup combined with photography and or just makeup in general, both with intensive how to methods. I only say this as often models or women in general learn how to apply makeup as a kid or teen from either trial and error or via friends and family. It can effect a look just as much as any camera skill or anything else done for a shoot.

I guess it is almost like trying to pull of a girl next door style site and then have numerous sets of the girl in clear stripper heels or obvious hoochie wear. Just does not fit if you get my drift.

Sorry but for me the make up is over the top and takes something away from the girl, plus there is nothing coming off the girl that makes me think of sex. In fact pic 6 should of been binned and not spammed.

i think that with the amateur style settings that the glam type makeup works against her - she's lightened her hair? i like it.

No it's 6 that does not do it for me.

Here's a tip. Go grab some lingerie catalogs and look at the poses and the way the models come across. Some golden rules are lips open, keep knees elbows and knuckles pointed away from the camera, get the girl to show herself and her body to the camera, a shoot is a team event work together with a model as a team. The last one is the most important a set or video reflects what was happening on the day. Bad day = bad content. Good day = good content.

Good shooters and models can break the rules and bring it off, the rest of us best stick to them.

Next week after I've cleared a few jobs I will be picking up the camera after a rest of 3 years, will be interesting to see what I achieve.

Hey Paul, you know that is a good tip about the mouth being open. We are going to take some today like that. One other thing and surprised you mentioned it. The only time we have not been ,ummm I guess happy when working is number 6 LOL, The good thing is she is a long time friend and comes over to film 2-3 days at a time. Spends the time working and whatever and makes videos when in the mood. It has made a big difference. Not just making them to get them done.
I still think number 6 is hot though haha,
