James, you re the type of person who doesn't know or understand anything about a value of a domain but might be a good marketer for sites.
And is nothing wrong with that, you can take any domain and make a fortune on it, regards of its extension or its keywords, if you re really good at it.
What bothers me the most is that you assume an unmarketed domain to have the value of your .us domain, when it was empty.
People like you don't conceive that there are persons on this world who don't work with shitty extensions/domains/bad keywords from the start.
Like me, for example. I will never work with an .us extension unless its sex.us. I prefer to buy a decent premium .com domain and work only with that.
I'm doing this from principle, i just don't work with shitty stuff, shitty people etc.
Hope you learned something today. You re not the type of person which i'm marketing good domains because i know people like you usually don't buy good domains, you are interested about sites/revenue.
People like you will always buy cheap domains, market them and be happy with it. Nothing wrong with that but don't mix the value of a good domain with the value of a bad one, just because it has a site on it and produces a good income.
