There is a simple way of settling this. Does anybody know of which sites pathfinder owns or owned? If so just check the DNS then call his family to give your condolances, or ask if he is there(name from DNS). Unless i can be sure of the truth im not going to make much of a comment except.

If he did pass away then R.I.P. Otherwise.. your a sad sad man.

One other option i did consider is pathfinder will turn up in a few days saying it was a prank by his son.. hahaha u all fell for it.. sorry bla bla bla. If that is so then

I am so sorry. I wish your family the best. And please let your dad live on. Tell as many stories as you can about him. He sounds like he was a good man. My dad did over 30 years also in the military. I'm so very sorry. I send my condolences to you and your family.

I didn't know him well but he seemed like an up and up kind of guy. It saddens me to hear he has passed away, but it sounds like to me that he and his family had time to prepare, if that's possible, and they have made a peace with it all beforehand.

It happens when people have been thru health problems....... and alot of people want their lives remembered well, not in mourning and such. People who have had extended illnesses tend to not want their loved ones mourning them like it is typical to do....... in fact I have known some that make their loved ones promise NOT to mourn their passing.

Please accept my warmest condolences. I have read ALOT of his posts and he seemed like such a decent and honest man........ my thoughts are with this family.

If he was a highly decorated soldier as mentioned and as sick as mentioned he certianly would have had access to a VA facility and would have seen a doctor recently.

Some further thoughts........

I've never heard of a beneficial foundation of any kind that doesn't take donations to further their causes.... but what do I know? There could be some, I suppose.

I like Pathfinder. I certainly didn't agree with everything he said here, but he seemed like a straightup guy who stood by his convictions and supported his points intelligently, defended himself well. Admirable qualities all.

His alleged son reports that pathfinder "died in his sleep", which would likely qualify as an "unattended death" in many juristictions, which would be reason enough for an autopsy to be performed.

Lastly, yes I did and do offer my sincerest condolences, on the off chance that this is for rea. If it isn't then so what? Those that showed compassion will still come away looking good for at least trying to do the right thing. But if his death turns out to be for real, the scoffers and doubters are going to look absolutely a hundred thousand times more laughable than they already do.

Not liking the guy is no reason for this kind of attitude. How much effort is it really to show a half ounce of compassion?

he said he was quitting the biz a few months ago.. but came back after a month... and the reason he was doing porn was to leave an inheritance or business or something for one of his sons... i get the feeling that he's just trying to sever the ties once and for all and maybe do something else with in his twilight years..
but i mean he was pretty old.. many in my family didn't make it past 70.. it's not exactly impossible it's real.. i really hated that FUS insult of his. but on the slim chance this is real..

He didn't seem to be that type of person.
He was older, some what conservative, but yet still got online and seemed to have an open mind. [I actually had to go back through some of his posts - I didn't really remember him - even though he had a lot of posts]

He is probably about 10% of the people on here that I don't think would do this.

Then again - you can't really know someone from a board.

The woman is a real name in that city in CA and is 54 - that is a little old for a daughter and a little young for a wife - if he was 70.

The only male in the same city with that last name I can FIND is either too young - 34 - or too old - 88.

So perhaps it is not his daughter or wife - or perhaps something else.

I did not intend to post again, but there has been so many E-mails, and I just don't care to respond to them individually. To all of you that have sent E-mails (you know who you are), yes my father has really passed, and I thank you for your inquires and condolences.

For those of you that have expressed a desire by E-mail and by this board to donate to my fathers foundation, as I have explained, my fathers foundation cannot legally accept donations. For those of you that are familiar with the law concerning foundations and charities, you will understand why my fathers foundation cannot accept donations. It is a private, self sustaining foundation, funded by a small business enterprise and is subject to all tax codes.

For those of you that want me to identify who my father was, I will not do that, because he did not want his connection to having ever been in the porn business known, by anyone other than a few close friends. Those of you that knew him personally understand this.

Actually many private foundations cannot accept outside donations due to the fact they are not taxed as a public charity. I'm not saying that this is the case here but there are private foundations that legally cannot accept donations.

this sure does sound like a way to kill off the login, yep. i don't buy it.

the obits don't help the case - neither could be him, if he was telling the truth before this thread. unless his browser was left open for 2 weeks, but i don't think gfy's cookies even work that long out.. i know i have to log back in every couple of days.

good prank, poor taste, well in line with the board's humor though.
