Why? because BP (British Petrolum) owns half of the oil pipeline that runs through Georgia from which we also get supplys from so the UK has a very big intrest in Georgia

Oh right. Well i doubt that would get cut off anyway by either side, the fighting isn't to do with oil. I read that Russia striked a place by the pipeline and they made sure they didnt damage it.
