Acacia in Microsoft's back pocket?

And what about RealNetworks?

These companies are two leading developers for Codecs and that improve media compression and transmission. Why take the time to improve a technology your don't even own?

Simple, because Acacia will never ask for their 1-2% of gross and it's business as usual for Microsoft & Real.

These companies will never see a licensing packet in their mailbox and never step in a courtroom because Acacia isn't going to bite the hand that feeds them. The more technologically advanced streaming becomes, the more companies that want to use the technology, and in turn more $$$ for Acacia.

So if you ever hear that any of these companies settled with Acacia, it simply mean that they decided not to slap the taste out of Acacia's mouth.
