Denmark : Kicking a random family guy to death = 4 years in prison

So this psycho who attacked a random 44 year old guy and kicked him to death, then taped his corpse with his cell and sent it to his friends to brag just got senteced to a stunning 4 years of jail time... and with good behaviour he will be out after 2 years..

This has been described as one of the sickest murders in the history of Denmark.. and 4 ridicolous years is what this guy gets..

No fucking wonder our country soon is to be run by violent muslim drug gangs... (almost already is)

Let me just add here that this guy wasn't a muslim... one of the few cases where it's actually a dane comitting one of these sick crimes

About 15% of all crime in Denmark is done by "foreigners " (all "foreigners" not only Muslims).

I remember 15 years ago when I started to go out partying I don't recall any problems with stabbings or any serious problems with violence, if people got in a fight it was solved with fists not knifes. Today random violence and stabbings are becoming more and more common and shootings as well, almost on a weekly basis there are shootings between gangs.
Things are getting worse quickly and sentences like this is a joke he should have gotten 8-12 years even if he is only 16.

I agree. But not death penalty style, because that (a) gives the government too much power and (b) is not enough punishment. Having that person rot in obscurity in prison (preferably with back-breaking labor) for the rest of his life with no possibility of ever leaving (except in a body bag) sounds good to me.

IMO the punishment system (especially in the US) is completely fucked and backfires on it self. No matter what you do when you get out of prison the chances you will find a decent paying job (more than $7 an hour) are SLIM. almost every employer does background checks. but so what, if your a ciminal do you deserve a good paying job?

regardless, you "paid you debt to society" but now you cant get a job, so what do you do? go back to stealing and selling drugs. why? because the shitty cheese sandwich job doesnt pay enough for you to live. then you get busted selling drugs again... back to jail again... more money out of tax payers pockets, and so on.

so the answer? EYE FOR AN EYE PUNISHMENT

^honestly, i havent thought that far in my theory of the US justice system yet

I wonder what would happen if revenge killings were made legal. I'm thinking that it would start out pretty crazy for maybe 5-10 years... but then what?

I don't know that prison and death are working deterrents against hardened criminals and sociopaths... but sometimes, these people just need to be taken out of society. The rest of us that abide by the rules and are good citizens are slapped in the face every time something like this happens...

gotta change the law before you can get too upset about the punishment.

The murderer was a juvenile , and the max sentance is 8 years.

I dont know every detail but it seems the guy didnt intentionally try to kill the guy , he likely beat him without the intention of killing him. Ig he intentionally beat a man to death and knowing he was dead text messaged people the corpse then he is obviously deranged , but that seems unlikely , seems more likely he was just some arrogant teen who beat up some guy who happened to die from his injuries.

So if the max is 8 years and he doesnt qualify as the "worst" case of murder ( i.e. no premeditation ) then i would figure he would get about half the time.

In the states its much the same way , thats why you always hear about people wanting teens charged as adults. not because they are adults or acted like adults, but because they have really low max's
