Wearing a black T-shirt bearing the Girls Gone Wild logo, O'Sullivan represented himself at his arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip. Prosecutor Stacy Skorupa said O'Sullivan and the woman consensually kissed and touched on the bus before "things turned non-consensual."
Reading the criminal complaint, District Court Judge Toni Bean described O'Sullivan forcibly removing the woman's clothing and holding her throat while he assaulted her.
The woman struggled with O'Sullivan, officials said, until the woman's friends climbed on the bus.
"I think the timing of her friends coming on the bus was good for her," said Det. Let. Robert Edwards. "They see a struggle."
