Yes, a few times. My friend is a professional soccer player in Scotland and I go into the Directors Box to watch his matches then go to the Players Lounge after the game. Well you need to dress smart in those areas and after the game I meet up with him and we leave together to go out somewhere. A few times we've been coming out, I've been holding his boot bag so he can sign autographs and the younger fans ask me for mine too. They assume coz I'm holding his bag that I'm one of the players.
If its hot chicks who ask I give the autograph along with my number!Comment

Yes I opened for Henny Youngman, I was so excited to meet him and he was such a dick to me. So im waiting in line with everyone else to shake his hand and the lady in front of me says Can you sign my program? I say lady Im nobody, the old lady smiles at me and says you could be somebody someday so sign it. So I signed then everyone wanted me to sign before hennys. Since he was a dick to me I signed each one very big so when they got to him he didn't have much room to write.Comment

I used to write for a music magazine and had a couple of people recognize me and ask me to sign copies of the magazine. I also won a writing award a while back and my story was published in a small independent press book with other stories. I went to a couple of small conventions to do publicity for them and signed some books for people.
Also, I wrote a short story for a magazine once and got a letter from a woman in jail who read it and liked it and wanted me to sign a picture and send it back to her in prison. It was a little creepy.Comment

a cop asked me for my autograph recently. infact he chased me down at 120 mph with his lights on with some phoney excuse about me speeding. I'm like "yah sure buddy i'll sign an autograph for you, next time just ask don't make up phony stories about dangerous speeding, im just a regular guy like everyone else", then he sprayed some very powerfull eye cleaner in my eyes and applied these cool wrist tension devices, i suppose its some sort of healing device, it actually felt more painfull than relaxing. Then he gave me a free tour of the town , i sat in the back of his car like a guest of honour. He took me to some sort of yoga center where the rooms were very small and had mattresses all over the walls and floors , and everything is white. I have been here for about a week now. Yes, when I used to run KISS' website. When I was in Australia for their 2001 tour I would have fans come up and ask me to autograph tour books and ask for a picture with me. It was always the strangest thing. I mean, I was just someone running a website, not in the band. He's not a big time player. He played for Motherwell FC. I was up at his house yesterday and told him about this thread actually. He laughed about it coz he remembered those kids getting pissed at me for saying I'm not one of the players and they thought I was just being a dick to try to get away from them. Didn't help matters when they saw me getting into my car which was better than the cars of most of the players haha.Comment
