The personal info angle, is simple
if I'm posting images on reddit of girls in sexual scenes and i am the only outflow of these pictures i want to make damn sure that if i do have the police or who ever nocking at my door that i can prove all the pictures are of girls of age.
its not like i can say well it came from (x porn site) they have compliance look here
