Wow that makes me nervous. I have 2 "fake nicks" that are my real first name and last name but a fake middle name. I do not want to lose them.

My third fake nick is a female name, totally fake but not a performer type name.

What type of name did you use to get caught?

Two friends had that happen --

The first scanned in her ID and they updated her name to what it was on her ID (well, shortened - Jen from Jennifer). But they took away the nickname that she had there as part of her name.

The second found an app that would make a fake id for him to submit to Facebook. It even said "Fake" on it. Facebook reviewed his ID and let him keep the madeup name he had (and it's truly made up - no one looks at a baby and names him Prick).

So I guess.. it's all based on who reviews it. My second friend got lucky that, apparently, the Storm Troopers from Tattooine reviewed his.

well,i run several facebook groups and you can't login anymore...
The cohoice is to start all over, or just scan your ID.

I had a fake profile for the sole purpose of being able to easier check small bar and restaurant type businesses. Within 3 months I received a request for ID verification. Of course I just let it go.
