    February is Black History Month in the entire United States

    To commemorate the achievements of the black peoples, I will be posting uplifting facts in this thread.

    "George Washington Carver developed 300 derivative products from peanuts among them cheese, milk, coffee, flour, ink, dyes, plastics, wood stains, soap, linoleum, medicinal oils and cosmetics."

                          "Inoculation was introduced to America by a slave.

                          Few details are known about the birth of Onesimus, but it is assumed he was born in Africa in the late seventeenth century before eventually landing in Boston. One of a thousand people of African descent living in the Massachusetts colony, Onesimus was a gift to the Puritan church minister Cotton Mather from his congregation in 1706.

                          Onesimus told Mather about the centuries old tradition of inoculation practiced in Africa. By extracting the material from an infected person and scratching it into the skin of an uninfected person, you could deliberately introduce smallpox to the healthy individual making them immune. Considered extremely dangerous at the time, Cotton Mather convinced Dr. Zabdiel Boylston to experiment with the procedure when a smallpox epidemic hit Boston in 1721 and over 240 people were inoculated. Opposed politically, religiously and medically in the United States and abroad, public reaction to the experiment put Mather and Boylstonâ??s lives in danger despite records indicating that only 2% of patients requesting inoculation died compared to the 15% of people not inoculated who contracted smallpox.

                          Onesimusâ?? traditional African practice was used to inoculate American soldiers during the Revolutionary War and introduced the concept of inoculation to the United States. "

                                                                                      Black history month is racist as fuck.

                                                                                      It's like black people are treated as 2nd class citizens because there is such a need to emphasize the skin color of them for things people, who happened to be black, did.

Fuck you blackie it's 2016 man up and handle your business. Down with BET, down with black history month, wanna boycott the Grammy's nobody will miss ya. They hand out houses, city jobs etc... So when your house starts on fire you can feel safe knowing that it's not a group of fireman that scored the highest on the test regardless of race racing to your home they had to reserve some free hand out spots so some dumb fuck is coming to save ya so we don't upset certain races.

                                                                                                                                                              Jobs should go to highest scores regardless of race, if that leads to a majority of one race then take your ass to school and don't expect a handout. I work and pay my bills yet they tear down the projects here and hand out vouchers to gang bangers for free housing and then they all work part time jobs and sell drugs on the side so they don't break the income threshold to lose their free housing.
