Without a doubt I will make more in 2008 than in 2007 even after adjusting for inflation. I will be hitting my 2007 figure before months end in actuality. I have even had more business expenses this year as well.

Not me... but then, I had to work a lot of extra projects last year due to it being a very hard year. I had surgery, the wife had 6 months of bed rest, had a new born at the end of the year and so on.
So this year I am planning on making less as I spend more time with the family however, I also cleared out all our debts and wiped out the credit cards so in reality, despite making less, I'll actually have more to spend

The last 3 months are bad. Ratios are going up and up and sales are less. I've had 1 bad month before but then the next picks up big time. This is a bit different. Time to try some new things.Comment

Me too. The halving of the dollar against the Czech Krown, it went from $1 = 35 CZK to $1 15 CZK over the last 5 years has been tough.
Then there is the UK Pound going form 55 CZK to 30 CZK and the Euro it will mean we have suffered just by getting the same turnover. For a few years we increased the turn over.
Nice to see so many doing so well though.
The situation here with custom shooters is they are closing down and leaving, whether they work for one company exclusive or many. Content providers are discounting like mad to keep the turn over up. We found that when we released a scene semi exclusive at $150 set and video no one buys it. When we re release a set at $2 lots buy it. I wonder if more money can be made from selling a scene at $10 than semi exclusive for $150.
The webcam studios here are struggling and some are also closing. Big ones as well as small.
Maybe it's the porn industry realising the market wants US girls. After 20 years shooting in Eastern Europe is seems strange.

To be honest, I don't know. I made more in 2007 than any year I've been online since 1998. 2008 seems to be more of an investment year rather than a profitable one. Although this has nothign to do with porn as its been years since porn was my main income source online.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment
