    Business Do you have an LLC or corp for your business? Should I get one?

    Has anyone ever been sued by a customer?
    I dont do affiliates or anything, just offer memberships to customers and get paid by processor. Should I get an LLC?

      Talk to your lawyer or accountant.

      LLC or corp has many benefits, including tax ....

          If you are setting up a corp to simply try to shield yourself from lawsuits, it won't work. All suits will name you personally too. ("piercing the corporate veil")

              Good point,

              Piercing is real common in closely held organizations that don't strictly follow corporate corporation guidelines.

                  Do an Inc and do it right. And then get insurance. Insurance is what protects your assets not just the Inc.

                          If you are making over $8K per month having a corporation can be beneficial tax wise.

                              My company is LLC and S Corp. I am an employee of my company.

                              My CPA had an attorney set it up this way.
