Because building sites that convert isn't just about SEO. You may be an expert chef, doesn't mean you know how to run a restaurant.

Most adult SEO guys are just glorified link brokers. They're career networkers who spend all day emailing webmasters about buying/selling/trading links. Its a totally different thing than building and maintaining quality sites.

Remember, a bad site won't rank no matter what you do. You can't just be an SEO expert and magically get a half-ass site to rank. You have to make a good site, which is completely beyond 99.9% of people.
