A Very Special Day at Darien Lake [PICS!]

Not only was I celebratin' my 44th b'day...but the wife and I are also celebrating our 10th anniversary this weekend.

So we spent a most enjoyable day at Darien Lake, N.Y. - and was rewarded with some spectacular dramatic skies for photography (and no rain).

Heh, I worked there during the summer between my freshman and sophmore year of college.

My aunt & uncle use to own a restaurant called Romar's down the street. I love Darien Lake. It's my old stomping ground. The amount of times I'm been on the Viper and shit. First upside down roller coaster for me.

Now they have the Superman, love that ride.

Kinda my old kneck of the woods as well, lol. Grew up not far from Elmira, went to college in PennYan and did Darien at least 2-3 times a summer. Looks like home to me as well) Happy Bday!

Did anyone see Tom Petty at Darien the last week of June? Heard it was a great show but rainy.

They had a partnership of sorts for a while, but no more. The Weggie's subs are pretty much the same aside for the bread...which isn't that much of a difference.

I made a better sub in my shop than both of them anyhow.
