My problem is when a cop just instantly fires his weapon in any situation that makes him feel threatened. This isn't any old situation...there was a crime in progress.

Try being the innocent people walking down the street when the cops shoot it up over a stolen car.
A couple of bullets grazing your head would help you rethink the shooting.
