    Live Event Streaming

    We are working on an adult event next month that we'd like to stream live for site members. I've never streamed live before, other than my wife's cam shows, so I'd like to know if anyone can help a brother out. Is there a turn-key option for me? It's just a one-time thing, so I don't want to buy a bunch of crap to do it. Where should I start?

                          I am not sure how it works, but if I have Wowza already can't I use that to stream a live event?

                              If you are using Amazon for any web services you can start a stream there fairly easy. Lots of tutorials on YT.

                              Inexpensive CDNs, such as CDN77 or KeyCDN do it with an easy set-up.

                              Install the free Adobe Live Media Encoder on local computer / laptop (mac or Win), tap into the cam, and away you go.

                                          ExtremeBank_Adam there are a few ways you can do it. First, youtube offers a live streaming service and this might be a good idea for you. You would have to keep the nudity off the camera, but it might be away to attract new eyeballs to your cause.

                                          If you want to do everything strictly in-house, consider setting up a wowza server and streaming through it. Setup is kind of technical though so prepare to devote some real time to it.

                                          If you want to stream just to your own members or on your own site and if this is a one-time thing, maybe we can do it for you in exchange for some banners or something. Go to Contact 2Much and drop me a note.
