    Met Art has 39 megapixel images now!

    I was reading through the week's sponsor emails and I saw this:

    39 MEGAPIXELS WHAT?!? MET-ART IS ONCE MORE AHEAD OF THE PACK

    Think that 22 MegaPixels images are a cool? Well...Try the new MET-ART 39 MegaPixels images!!!
    As usual, we're blowing the other sites away, not (As usual) they will play catchup.
    MET-ART, and the partner site Errotica-Archives (Erro is MET-ART number one photographer)
    offer, for the first time on the net, the new Hasselblad 39MP images.
    Good luck to the other photographers to try to buy that gear.
    Cool, I'm glad you guys bought awesome cameras. I like the samples you put out too. I have a suggestion though!

    Please drop like $500 on a set of these so I can actually see what you're shooting

          is there a met art rep here? i wanna know why they need 35 megapixels as thats mostly used for billboards.. is it legal for me to blow up met art pics and put them on billboards??

              maybe i think they do that because they dont take closeup pussy shots, this way the end user can zoom in himself

Total overkill for web images as it produces files in Raw of 65 mgs and Tiff images as large as 150 megs.

                                                                                                                                                      I can only imagine how long it would take to download a 50meg file using cheap bandwidth on a 56k modem !!!!!

                                                                                                                                                                  I bought a Canon 1DsII in 2005 and thought 16 was good... it's obsolete now...

                                                                                                                                                                  I love taking a picture of a detailed scene (eg a telephoto shot of a city street from a lookout) and then wandering around the image at 100% zoom, you see stuff you'd never notice otherwise. That would be fun with a 50MP sensor.
