No way in hell I would ever buy this:

However, I have given a lot of thought to where this is all going. Will we all some day have cars that drive themselves? Will we just say "take us to this location" and never have to worry about speed? Will this completely remove the desire for sports cars or four wheel drives? Will cars become less of a status symbol and completely about comfort?Herschel Savage

Thread title is misleading, as that survey is more of a would you care that your car would have tech company logo instead of ford/bmw etc logo.No way in hell I would ever buy this:

Like a private label car.
It does not have necessary to be some super tech car (at least that is what survey means).Comment

Doesn't matter much to me what the name of the company is or what their company logo is. I am more interested about the car.
Damn Audi drivers have the Olympic rings on them and no one complains about that.Herschel Savage

I wouldn't, at least not yet. I'd wait to see them really compete against other car makers first. I want a high-tech car, but I want a "car" with computers in it, not a computer with wheels on it. The Google car while I'm sure is interesting to some looks really boring to me.
Google and Apple should do what Microsoft is doing, and just license technology to car makers. I've always like GM cars but the computer screen and interface are terrible. Hard to use, not intuitive at all, slow, and just a total mess. The best in-car interface is Tesla, but even then its not as natural as using iOS or Android.Comment
