That's just far to general of a statement to make a comment like that on. 2,000 google clicks could be of the weakest variety out there, it all depends where they come from.
When my sites fall beneath the 6th spot on first page the conversions drop about 200%, VERY often I have sent in excess of 20k uniques of such traffic and had it be worthless.
