Purchase trafffic, participate in link exchanges, create promo galleries and post them to TGP sites...among many other ways. Lot's of ways to get traffic.

Create other sites (on different domains and IP addresses) and link to each other. Make sure you also do a lot of keyword research and optimization. If that fails, buying traffic is always an option but I find it is usually less targeted and productive than producing your own.

Trade links with other similar sites / buy traffic from a traffic broker (thats always bad traffic though). You can also work on SEO to get some free SE traffic. Submit to directories also as mentioned above.
