I've always been amazed that the news media can't Google this shit. It's been around forever. I guess they just need an evil brown person to blame the world's issues on, and have enemies for the warmongers and hawks to be saber rattling at.

That is a very good question... the US should do business with Russia, such would help stabilize the region and would create many jobs... I think the US knows they can't push them around so they don't try... not saying everything in the past was correct or proper on either side...

The US DOES buy oil from Russia. And Conoco owns 20% of Lukoil.

ADL Colin, look at the size of the former Russia and what they could contribute in a business sense; the US could do much more trade with them very much like how they do business with Canada... I'm sure the US is doing business with countries that I have never heard of... however, that does not mean they are doing any great volume of trade with them...

About 5% of Russian exports go to US.
