    Where are all the sales?

    Punishable this week so far. Whats going on. They suck balls. Summer slowdown? I doubt it. Who is stealing my sales?
    Traffic has also slumped by about 10% overall this week. But sales have gone down more than 10%.

    What are your figures like?

                                  Honestly I don't know what it is. I went from 10k clicks a day to about 25k, but sales stayed the same.

                                  Then June/July came around and sales went UP then DOWN then UP then.... over and over. it's almost predictable. Weird, huh?

                                  But I keep adding and getting indexed. Maybe when the economy gets better, or a democrat gets in office...

                                  Do gay sites get better sales when Republicans run the country?

                                              July started off being a rocking month but the last 14 days I've seen a pretty big slow down. I'd say 1 out of 3 days is what I'd call horrible. But over all I'm still up for the month. And even more so over last year.

                                                      I went up on a few sponsors, and the rest is pretty stable

                                                      The only thing i notice is that more trade requests are coming in on summer time, those are being dumped/Deleted as soon sales come back for them. Mysterious he?

                                                              maybe your not working hard enough and your sales are getting taken by other webmasters who are working harder? more competition in the biz is also a factor for people seeing less profit because the total profits in the industry gets distributed among more webmasters/companies

                                                                  But my sites pushing google adsense have went up in traffic but down in clicks this month...

                                                                      july is about 15% lower than usual here

                                                                      could be dudes on vacation, or more than likely people just not spending so much as said above due to gas prices and vacations

                                                                              Same here. We have not felt the typical 15% slow down I have normally seen across the board on the (our) sites. But as I have said in other threads like these, the WAY I hit the higher number changes sometimes. Memberships may be down, but clip sales up. Or more custom. Or more celebrity.

                                                                              Regardless, sales keep growing, and ratios steady.

                                                                                  Sales have sucked since about June. I have not changed anything on my sites or submitted galleries. I blame it on $4.50 a gallon gas, food prices and vacations. People would rather buy food and gas instead of porn.

                                                                                                          Year on year I'd be down if everything else had remained constant.
