On the plus side...
Deaths due to mass shootings (including these attacks and Charlie hebdo) this year: 162
Deaths due to mass shootings in the US this year: 393 (11,543 gun deaths total)

I'm from Paris, and I know the concert hall Bataclan, I've been there a few times.
Give guns to a handful of un-trained civilians inside the Bataclan and the death toll is bumped to double the number because of friendly fire.
Right to carry is nothing if you don't know the rules of engagement in a confined and dimly lit location.

You are delusional.
Where were your police?
I was in Paris 2 weeks this October. You were bombing ISIS at the time. You were unprepared. You really didn't get sucker punched -- you should have been better prepared.
I was saw what was going on. We really are not prepared in the USA either but over 11 million USA persons have CCW permits to carry concealed weapons.
France is now at ''war'' and in a state of emergency -- with a lot of dead. And you don't want a gun? Are you scared of guns or what? You cannot negotiate with ISIS.
A couple of US Marines on holiday and an elderly Brit were not scared of a gun wielding terrorist on the Eurostar train. How many other passengers stood up to fight? Sometimes there is no choice but to make a stand even if you die -- you die fighting -- not like a sheep to slaughter.
That's called courage.
