Business PAXUM: I love you but....

Paxum, I love you, but you're making it real hard to do business with you. Instead of facilitating business, you are now actually hindering it.

We were ready to make a wire load to you on Wed Nov 4. We printed out your (latest) wire load instructions, but the address for the intermediary bank was missing. Our bank needs this info to process our wire.

We asked your support on Nov 4 for the address info. You responded quickly saying that we don't need this info. But indeed we do. So, we asked again. No response.

Sent Ruth (@ Paxum) a Skype message asking to follow up on our question. No response.

On Friday morning, used Google (thanks!) to find the bank's address, and sent off our wire load that morning. Heard back from Ruth and support on Monday, they are still looking for bank's address - I said 'never mind' - found it.

We also sent Payoneer a wire load that morning. Payoneer's wire load was credited to our account 6 HOURS later.

Guess what? We are still waiting for Paxum's wire load to land in our account, more than 3 business days later.

I need this load to pay my publishers - they are complaining (rightfully) about late payments.

I am getting to the point where I cannot recommend Paxum to our publishers anymore. This is the second month in a row where something has gone wrong with a wire load.

      Agreed 100%.

I'd also like to personally see PayPal added an option as well. Programs like AFF / Penthouse and Scorecash have offered these options, including PayPal, for several years now and it works quite well.

We do offer Payoneer as a payment option, but very few publishers choose it.

As far as Paypal goes, I'd LOVE to add them as a payment option, but the only way that we can fund our Paypal account is with a bank account denominated in Canadian dollars, as we are a Canadian company. This would be 2 currency exchanges for us, (once from USD to CDN, send to PP, then convert back to USD), which makes this cost prohibitive.

Ravo, if you deal with TD Canada Trust, you can establish a US banking relationship along with USD VISA card as a backup funding source. I fund from my USD banking account and/or TD USD Visa all of the time.

If you need a US Address, there are several sources to get one, such as an any Mailboxes, etc. service.

We are aware of the banking issues some clients are having. We are working on this and all issues should be resolved shortly.

Thanks, I am aware of this option. But I am reticent to do ANY type of banking in the United States. Yes, maybe it's more of a political decision than a purely business one, but I just don't like the thought of having any banking exposure in the US.

you could have just googled the intermediary bank and lifted the address from their site

nowadays you dont need bank address anyway, proper SWIFT code takes care of it

That's what we ended up doing - googling the address (as per my post).

It's not up to me to decide if we need a bank address or not. Our bank (TD Canada Trust) insists that we show the address for the intermediary bank, or our wire does not go out.

                          From the OP:

It does, but not many affiliates use it. They are all asking for Paxum. It's like Epassporte 2.0
